Travel Makeup Must-Haves

In my dream world I travel by private jet, I get to sleep on the plane, I eat 5-star meals, and can pack every single piece of makeup I own because who knows when I’m going to need to rock a certain look.

A girl can dream, right?

When, until that happens, I have my travel makeup must-haves down to an art so I can recreate the looks I love most plus do a little glam if the occasion calls for it.

Here’s what I pack when I travel:

BASE FACE - I Never Go Anywhere Without These Two:

Candlelight ShadowSense and Light Color Correcting Tinted Moisturizer are the 2 things I never leave home without. They give me sheer-to-full coverage and keep me looking like I’m not at death’s door. I can wear them without any other makeup for just a super clean, fresh look. I use the Candlelight to cancel out any veins or discoloration underneath my eyes and on my eyelids, and the light CCTM is my go-to for all-over coverage.

Brows:

I use this brow gel because you get the look of laminated brows without actually laminating them. Or, you can just brush them however you’d like and they stay put. This brow gel also helps your brows grow so you can choose to put it on just at night when you go to bed or both morning and night!

Concealer & Contour/Bronzing:

I could pack a bunch of different products for bronzing but I find that most of the products I’m already bringing do the job well! I use my brush with the Light Color Correcting Tinted Moisturizer to clean up the bronzer and get clean lines.

Eyes:

Tip: I always blend my concealer after I do my eyes so that it cleans up anywhere I may have gotten shadowsense anywhere I don’t want it. Then I can go back in with my concealer brush to also pick up extra product that has settled in any fine lines and wrinkles.

Setting Powders:

I could pack more powders or even less, but I have found that I love having these two powders handy. I use the translucent powder on my eyes and you’ve seen me mix it with my CCTM for super opaque and flawless coverage. And I use the medium powder to set the areas where I’ve bronzed.

Blush:

I bring both a powder and cream blush. If I had to choose I would bring the cream BlushSense over the Silver Rose powder because it’s a cream and is long-lasting. I will always take long-lasting over powder!

Lips:

I travel with 2 lip colors and 2 glosses. Again, if I am doing a specific look then I will pack the colors I need. But this group here does most of the heavy lifting for almost any look I do.

If I’ve got some extra room, these are the other colors I’m packing with me:
